Had it not been for your persistence at the forefront to demand citizens’ rights, and had it not been for relentlessly expressing your determination to combat corruption that has become destructive in all aspects of the daily life of the citizens in your country, you would never have been exposed to abuse and harm in more than one occasion. You endured dangerous and unenviable consequences.
Millions of people have breathed a sigh for your recovery after you were poisoned due to exposure to nerve gas, and your urgent transfer to Germany for treatment. However, the joy of return from Germany safe and sound was not complete as a result of immediate detention and being taken into police custody upon diversion and landing at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport instead of Vnukovo airport.
