Dagestani police detain two for recruiting would-be rebels
Dagestan, 23 May, Caucasus Times- Two local residents – Artur (born in 1978) and Adam (born in 1985) Gaybulatov – were detained by officers of the Khasavyurt District department of internal affairs in the village of Solnechnoye in Khasavyurt District on Saturday [21 May]. The two are suspected of recruiting people to join illegal armed formations, the Dagestani Interior Ministry press service has told a Caucasus Times correspondent.
Law-enforcers discovered three F-1 grenades with fuses and two magazines for a Kalashnikov rifle with 60 cartridges of 5.45-mm calibre on the outskirts of the village on the same day.
