Cleansing operation in NALCHIK

Volniy-Aul sector of capital city NALCHIK in the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria was target of Russian Omon Militarists at early morning hours of 3 August 2005.
Russian Regnum News Agency reported that Russian Omon Militarists have sealed off the Volniy-Aul sector of capital city NALCHIK and are breaking into each and every house of the residential area…
Security Department of Kabardino-Balkaria is closed to any comment on the operation.
Volniy-Aul is the site of a 23 July 2005 killing of two policemen by unknown assailants. Another two policemen were killed on 21 July 2005 in South-West sector of Nalchik.
