Justice For North Caucasus Group Statement of Condemnation of Murdering Boris Nimtsov in Moscow

Justice For North Caucasus Group representing Circassians and other North Caucasians in the North Caucasus and in Diaspora, firmly denounces and strongly condemns the barbaric criminal act of assassinating the leading Russian opposition leader, late Boris Nimtsove, the former “First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia” during Boris Yeltsin era, who was shot dead, not far from the Kremlin walls.

A terror and propaganda campaign has ended on Friday evening, the 27th of February, which started since he became approximately 15 years ago an opposition politician and fierce critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who lead recently the Republican Party of Russia — People’s Freedom Party, Boris Nemtsov was shot four times in the back by assailants in a white car resulting in killing him on the spot, knowing that he said he feared for his life days before being shot dead in close proximity to the Kremlin.

Justice For North Caucasus Group offers sincere condolences to his family, children and comrades who accompanied him during his difficult career for the sake of participation of all national colors of the political spectrum in the decision-making, stressing on abandoning dictatorship and exclusivity style in government.

His criticism to the corruption associated with 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games, and the inference, which showed that due to the fact, Boris Nemtsov was working recently on a report about Russia’s involvement in Ukraine and the Crimea, and the expected opposition rally on Sunday, the 1st of March, Nemtsov urged Muscovites hours before his death, to rally “against Putin’s aggression” in Ukraine, probably the assassination was a preventive measure to have an impact on the rally of the 1st of March, knowing that “the day of his assassination hours before death he condemned Putin’s ‘mad and deadly’ policy of war”.

JFNC Group hopes that all oppressed individuals and peoples in all regions of the described federal entities will get and restore their legitimate rights regardless of all the obstacles created by the imperial policies set forward by those who can be called the servants of Russian imperialism. Circassians, Chechens and all other oppressed peoples will continue their efforts to be able to retrieve their dignity, freedom and independence.
