21 Circassians Denied Entry by Russian Land Border Authorities after 12 Hours Delay

Another intended Russian provocation against Circassians, has taken place this time in land border. On the Georgian-Russian land entrance border on the eve of the Circassian Memorial Day, a group of Circassians were denied entry.
Last night a group of 21 Circassians from Turkey, were not admitted to cross the Georgian Russian land border. After 12 hours delay, they were denied entrance through the border. They were obliged to return to where they came from.
The group wanted to travel by bus from Ankara, Turkey, to cross the Black Sea on ship to Batumi, Georgia, then continue on the same bus to Nalchik, the Republic of Karabardino-Blakaria. They wanted to be in Nalchik on the Circassian Memorial Day, on the 21st of May.
All passengers had their travel documents properly prepared for the trip, which presented at the border check point. Valid Visas were stamped on the passports. After holding them for 12 hours, they were told that they are not allowed to proceed to their homeland.
They had to return to Ankara, via Batumi, through the same way they selected on their way in.
