In the United States, one of the organizations of the Armenian diaspora, apparently in cooperation with one of the organizations of the Circassian diaspora, issued an appeal to the Republic of Armenia, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and all Armenian organizations in the world to recognize the genocide of the Circassians committed by the Russian state in the 19th century.
It is remarkable that this statement appeared on the Internet on the eve of May 21, the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow of the Circassian people.
