A group of Circassians in the Circassian homeland published the following statement in several languages, highlighting the reckless actions of Hauti Sokhrokov, the head of the so-called International Circassian Association. The statement confirms that Hauti is clearly a key player, both secretly and publicly, due to his influence and power in various fields, enabling him to carry out the functions of the deep state. He supported the constitutional changes to make the Russian language the primary language in all walks of life, marginalizing the national languages.
He appears to represent the most severe challenge to those demanding equality, respect for human rights, the right to express one’s opinion, and participation in the commemoration of Circassian Memorial Day, which falls on May 21 of the year. He transgresses against the head and members of the local Russian administration in anything offensive to Circassian citizens and their human rights, with malicious intent on behalf of the Russian colonial authorities:

According to information from sources in the (Russian) judicial system, it was Hauti Sokhrokov, the president of the International Circassian Association (ICA), (although he does not consider himself a Circassian), who initiated the persecution of some participants of the May 21 demonstration. As our sources reported, it was Sokhrokov who approved and requested lists of (full names) to decide on detention and arrest. The judge who issued the arrest warrant initially planned to impose a fine on them, but was contacted and ordered to issue administrative detention orders for all of them.
Who could have contacted the judge and issued the order? It’s the president! Who was the chief justice, the current head of the Supreme Court of the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic, Oleg Bogatyrev? Who is Bogatyrev’s wife? She is A. Sokhrokova (Hauti’s daughter), a judge of the Arbitration Court of the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic. In addition, Hawti Sokhrokov’s son is a judge, member of the Supreme Court of the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic. Thus, the powerful figure in the judicial system, Hauti Sokhrokov, wields more influence than Kazbek Kokov (the president of the republic).
Through his conspiracies, Sokhrokov succeeded in removing former judicial President Yuri Mairov from the judicial system and took control of the Supreme Court of the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic.
Let us add the motives behind Sokhrokov’s despicable actions. He considers himself the leader of the Circassian world and wants to be seen by the Kremlin as someone who keeps the Circassian cause under his complete control. As soon as he sees the possibility of intercepting a court summons that came from him, he immediately sends false reports about such an activist to the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB). But Moscow is far away and easy to deceive. They do not realize that Sokhrokov has long lacked support and authority, not only in the world but also in his own homeland. Thanks to his criminal actions, the center of the Circassian world has shifted from Nalchik, Russia, to hostile countries. Moreover, by organizing unjustified crackdowns on activists, he is fueling extremism. This is the anti-Russian outcome of Sukhrokov’s activities!
