Half of passengers of bus crushed on crossing were from Adygeya
On January, 13th in the morning in Ust-Labinsky area of Krasnodar territory at 84th km of the railway Krasnodar-Kropotkin a bus belonging to the Open Society “Kuban standard” and an electric train collided. The Bus driver had not passed the electric train on the unprotected adjustable railway crossing. The bus followed from Ust-Labinsk in village Voronezhskaya and transported workers of a joint-stock company, they informed in the State Office of Public Prosecutor of Russia. As a result of the collision not less than 22 passengers of the bus died; 6 were delivered in hospital. Bodies of 21 victims and fragments of corpses were found out. They instituted criminal proceeding on clause 264 part 3 of the Criminal Code of Russian Federation. The public prosecutor of Krasnodar territory Sergey Eremin headed the investigatory brigade.
As a result of that collision 12 inhabitants of Adygeya Republic were lost, four were in a grave condition. All the victims were inhabitants of Krasnogvardeysky district. “Caucasian unit” correspondent informed about it referring to the press-service of the Adygeya president. In that connection president Khazret Sovmen expressed his deep condolences to the natives and close friends of the tragically lost inhabitants of republic. Khazret Sovmen noted that all Adygeya inhabitants with heart pain and bitterness apprehended the tragedy; as the republican bodies of government would render all necessary help to the suffered citizens and their relatives.
In the Territory and the republic on January, 14th and 15 they declared the mourning day. By the decision of the area administration families of the victims will be paid 50 thousand rubles each one; besides the family of the 17-years girl hospitalized with serious traumas will be helped with 25 thousand rubles.
