Chechens in Canada have gathered to remind the world of Chechen-Ingush genocide which occurred in 1944, 68 years ago. At that time, Chechens have been deported from Chechen lands to Siberia and Central Asia. On 23rd of February, Chechen Diaspora from Toronto (Canada) stood up in front of Russia Consulate. Stalin’s victims have also been mentioned in the other countries of Europe. Chechens from Austria, Norway, Holland, France, Germany, Poland, England and many more held events dedicated to this day.
