Users from all regions of the south of Russia sign up for an action in support of opposition politician Alexey Navalny announced by his federal headquarters. Residents of both regional centers and small settlements claim to go to protest.

Navalny’s headquarters announced a protest campaign as ′′ the largest rally in the history of modern Russia “. It is expected that its date will be known after the number of Russians confirming their desire to go to protest will exceed 500 thousand (now there are about 350 thousand ).

Among the southern cities, residents of Krasnodar (6 thousand who claimed support for the action), Sochi (about 2 thousand) and Stavropol (1,5 thousand) expressed the greatest readiness to participate in the protest.

About 400 people confirmed participation in the action in support of Navalny in Makhachkala, more than 250-in Vladikavkaz, and another 500 potential participants registered in the cities of Kavminvod. Activity is observed not only in cities, but also in small pages and villages. For example, in Chechnya there are applications of residents of Serzhen-Yurt, Alhan-Yurt and Oak-Yurt.

′′ Krasnodar Krai is one of the most active regions on the map, I’m glad of such activity. But I would like to have more. I think these people are really ready to go to the rally, because we remember that on January 23 in Krasnodar there was the largest rally in the city’s recent history. And that’s what we’ve been preparing for the week. This time it’s different: we are preparing in advance and hopefully there will be even more people “, said Anastasia Panchenko, coordinator of the only operating headquarters of Alexei Navalny in southern Russia, which is located in Krasnodar.

At the beginning of this year, protest campaigns for Navalny took place in Krasnodar, Yeysk, Anapa, Sochi, Novorossiysk, Armavir, Makhachkala, Pyatigorsk and Stavropol. The number of participants was calculated by dozens and hundreds. The police conducted mass and strict arrests.
