The Arab World is taking more and more steps towards liberation of Chechnya. Recently, Chechens and Arabs have joined together to remember Chechen legitimate leaders who have passed away while defending their homeland from Russian occupants. Another interesting aspect to mention is Chechen consulate in Egypt, Muhammad Mounir Hamed, who is one of the most active politicians in the Arab world representing Ichkeria. His great compassion and struggle to assist small Chechen nation in their war to defend their country’s integrity has amazed almost everyone even among Ichkerian government’s authorities.
ChechenCenter received another important information from Consulate of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria in Egypt that Chechen and Arab community, on the 21st of February, held remembrance day right at the University of Cairo. According to the information, on that day, lots of people have stopped by asking what they can do to assist the Chechen government in exile and, of course, expressed their condolences with the silence from International Community. Everyone wished Chechnya to become free and independent from Russian empire and confirmed again of their strong alliance with every Chechen who is fighting to free Chechnya.
