Circassian Day at the European Parliament (EP), Brussels on 7th November 2011
As you may know the Federation of European Circassians has been presenting the Circassian culture and introducing the Circassians at the European Parliament on a regular basis for the last 6 years.
When we present ourselves on this platform, we need also to expose the problems we face. Therefore, we chose the topic “Circassian Organizations in the Diaspora, their Problems and their Expectations from the European Parliament” as the main theme at this year’s event. Mr.Ismail Ertug, MP at the European Parliament representing the German SPD party will be participating and supporting us again as he did last year.
We would like to invite you at this year’s EP summit on 7th Novembver 2011. You are also kindly requested to hold a presentation pointing out your ideas and concerns regarding the theme mentioned above.
Furthermore, it’s our objective to introduce one Caucasus Republic each year at the EP. We will be starting this most probably in 2012. Your support in this regard is also highly appreciated.
