Condemnation Of Russia’s Brutal Conducts

“Justice For North Caucasus Group” would affirm with more discontent that time and reality have proven beyond any reasonable doubt that the Russian authorities, since the obnoxious Tsarist Russian era through the autocrat Soviet time had implemented the well-known savage methods and intimidation, still practicing oppression and all kinds of human rights breaches against all those who had been destined to be conquered by the Russian invading armies accompanied by opportunists and mercenaries, where the Circassian nation was and still one of those victims of brutal imperial policies of massacres and occupation with all the associated negative and disastrous consequences.

As a direct connection to hosting international winter sports event, the Russian authorities have conducted serious human rights breaches against Circassians by conducting both arbitrary and selective arrests against Circassian leaders and activists, which seemingly in order to establish the principle of militancy and cruelty to detainees and to create and sustain the impression in the mind of citizens to behave in accordance with the authorities’ wishes:

–Arrests prior to Sochi took place apparently by FSB in systematic and simultaneous methods in December, 2013, against Circassian activists who opposed holding the Sochi Winter Olympic Games on the site of the Circassian Genocide, in multi-Circassian Regions, where the detainees were taken promptly to the city of Krasnodar for interrogation because of false accusations put against them, in regard to subjects that they got nothing to do with!

–On the day of the ceremonies of opening the Sochi Olympiad, peaceful Circassian protesters demonstrating against the Sochi Olympics in Nalchik were harassed and dispersed by brutal police repression, then arrested some of them, who are still detained, subjected to humiliation, torture, cruel beatings and interrogation.

–On the 15th of February, Circassians in the Circassian part of the North Caucasus and Diaspora were stricken by disappointment for the Russian authorities’ detention of the peaceful Circassian activist, Asker Sokht, the Chairman of the Circassian Association in the federal province of Krasnodar, known as the “Adygha Khasa”, which eventually revealed the true face of the Russian policies in repression and ignoring fair and true demands, which showed those who have not yet lost hope, the inability to persuade the Russians to return to dialogue and understanding.

Sokht’s detention was linked to his criticism in prior days, which was reported that he criticized Dimity Kosack, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the Sochi Olympics and the North Caucasus Region, accusing him of going back on his promise given before Sochi Olympics that is related to showing the Circassian Culture the way it should be, which was disappointing according to Sohkt.

The waves of arrest of the leaders who are prominent peaceful figures, and got a record of social peaceful interaction and reconciliation between the various ethnic components in the North Caucasus seemingly indicates between the lines a setup of orchestrated Russian policy of intimidation towards all Circassian public figures as a standard Russian policy adopted for the North Caucasus in order to apply the strategy of exclusion, injustice and tyranny according to malicious actions by the police state and its security and intelligence services and tools, which eventually leads to bring to false justice anyone that got logic and reasoning.

A tree is known by its fruit; they will eat the fruit of their ways, and be filled with the fruit of their schemes.
