International Circassian Association, virtually ceased to exist after the election of its president Khauti Sohrokova.
Because of what broke the fuss? In 2014 Circassians found on the foundation’s Web site Gorchakov interesting project – “Confrontation ethnocentric ideology on the Internet through propaganda.” Author of the project – Khauti Sohrokov. This is how to understand? That is, the head of the ICA, designed to fight for the development of the Circassian language, culture, and return to their historic homeland of the Circassians, at the same time takes over the functions of the fight against Circassian ethnocentrism? Maybe the problem exists, but as soon as, ICA President had to announce it to the other members of the ICA, and act openly, but he acted secretly. And when it became clear from the ICA came three authoritative “Adyghe Khasa” (Assembly of the Circassians) – Karachay-Cherkessia, Adygea Republic ,, and the Krasnodar Territory.
The same statement provoked an angry reaction among the Turkish Circassians. Khauti Sohrokov was forced to take his deputy Mohammed Haftse (chapter Nalchik Adyga Khasa) and go to Turkey to meet with the local Circassian diaspora. On arrival in Nalchik he published on the website of the newspaper “Kabardino-Balkar Truth” article in which he argued that the Circassians in Turkey to apologize to him for having misunderstood.
However, he was immediately caught in a lie – the representatives of “Caesarea Caucasus Hase” (“Collection of the Caucasus city of Keyser”) published a letter in which he stated that no one in front Sohrokovym not apologized, and more than that – they continued to demand an answer to the question, for what reason Grant requested from Gorchakov Fund for the project “Confrontation ethnocentric ideology on the Internet through propaganda,” which is sponsored by Gorchakov.

Currently, the organization is supposedly a social movement, but in fact is still under the supervision of the FSB.
Just before Congress, September 18, ICA Yuri Kokov gathered at his home in the residence of the diaspora who came to Nalchik, and held a private meeting.
In general, members of the ICA is already so osvinyachilis that do not realize that, in fact, since 2000 year, make the decision in the offices of the heads of Kabardino-Balkaria – then Valeria Kokova, then Arsen Kanokov, now – again at Kokova but Yuri.
