We did not take anyone prisoner, we did not sell the Circassians into slavery anywhere, and half of Turkey is Russians today. Why is Russian good there? Because prisoners and civilians, not necessarily prisoners, seized villages, cities, and Crimean Tatars there. All the time, the south lived in smuggling. The fact that people are a living commodity … Today negroes are on strike, they were once brought as slaves from Africa to the United States, and hundreds of thousands of Russians were taken out there, Turkey. Less to Persia. Who did it? These are those who lived on the shores of the Black Sea, but they received it in accordance with international treaties, defeating Turkey. Captured Constantinople. And half of Africa. And they created a huge Ottoman Empire.
We didn’t start a war there. The Turks did it all. When we defeated the Turks several times, all these lands of the northern Black Sea region went to us. And a huge number of Circassian tribes, Adygs, Abkhazians, all left for Turkey.
