In Reports on the Special Operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, Cherkasy Tishki
11 June 2022
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, struck, as of 22.00 on June 7, 2022, at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including a village in the Kharkiv region called Cherkasy Tishki. This was reported by the website of the “Strategic Culture Foundation.” The information also lists a number of villages close to Cherkasy tishki, in which positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were also fired upon. However, it does not say how accurately the targets were hit, nor whether the civilian population was affected. The world Wikipedia points out that the population of Cherkassy Tishki “according to 2001 census is 1165 people (524 men and 641 women)”. According to the same source, in “2022, during the Russian invasion of Ukraine (2022), the village was occupied, but was later liberated as a result of a counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”
Apparently, there is no reason not to believe the same Wikipedia that the village of Cherkasy Tishki was founded in 1656
