It is necessary to start directly with the most important topic of these sad days of an expensive, unequal and unjust war in which the Ukrainian people and the right of the Ukrainian state to exist are imminently endangered. Undoubtedly, its intensity will not recede without the strong will of the Ukrainian people to confront the attempts to liquidate this ambitious, creative and prosperous state that moved from the collapsed Soviet Union in the 1990s, where it seems that evil attempts are exerted to eradicate its entity, according to the well-known colonial arrogance.

It must be noted here that the Ukrainian forces defending their homeland, in cooperation with the Ukrainian volunteers, because their country has become the object of boundless greed. This should depend on the support of the civilized world to defend the existence, and the right of the Ukrainian people to choose the political trend that guarantees their freedom, independence and to choose the international orientation and the political system that suits them. War, in short, is an artificial crisis against a people whose guilt is that their country has become the object of boundless greed, due to its proximity to a country that covets the homelands of others. This is not an unjustified accusation, but on the contrary, it is based on the harsh experiences of tens of peoples and nations from the time of Ivan the Terrible to the present day.

It is a farce of fate to create regional and global chaos, in order to circumvent the principles on which the United Nations and peaceful international relations are based, and the principle of sovereign equality among all its members, paving the way for the assault on the rights of freedom, independence and the choice of the political system chosen by states. The war serves to violate state sovereignty, repeating the hostile methods of the same colonial goals that seek, according to reliable evidence, to enforce the Law of Jungle and  to occupy Ukraine, by continuing with its division into regions forming separatist republics such as Donetsk and Luhansk, which necessarily attached directly to the Russian state. That will inevitably decide its policies in accordance with the Russian interests, which may be “officially” annexed to the Russian state, in due course, in the manner in which the Crimea was annexed in 2014.

In conclusion, it seems that all international agreements and resolutions that followed the end of World War II have become of no value, principally by a State that was one of the signatories. This contradicts the Geneva Convention of 1949 and its Additional Protocols, related to the protection and treatment of victims of international armed conflicts. Bombs targeted  civilians, where a Peacekeeping and Security Center, hospitals, schools, and civilian facilities were bombed and destroyed. However, these are considered war crimes, committed by the Russian forces, who use vacuum and thermal bombs, and cluster munitions. Hundreds of thousands of Civilians are displaced. Many of them had to go to neighboring countries.
