Tuberculosis diseasing in Kabardino-Balkaria
The parliament of Kabardino-Balkaria became concerned with the situation of tuberculosis disease in the republic. The press-service of the parliament informs about it. At the session devoted to this problem, the Minister of Health of KBR Ahmed Kardanov informed that in the republic for today 1599 patients with an active form of tuberculosis are revealed. But this figure can not reflect the real situation as the population does not pass fluorographic inspection.
At the parliament session it has been marked that material equipment of the antitubercular clinic does not correspond to norms. In deputies’ opinion, figures of the diseasing are underestimated at least three times. For comparison – in Kabardino-Balkaria for the struggle against tuberculosis in 2004 they spent 700 thousand rubles, and in Northern Ossetia-Alania – 28 million rubles.
The parliament passed a decision in which items on universal inspection of the whole population of Kabardino-Balkaria, and also on increase in financing of antitubercular actions are put in the number of urgent measures on struggle against tuberculosis.
