North-Caucasian Diasporas of Turkey expressed support of Abkhazia 20.8.2008 Chairman of the Caucasian-Abkhazian Committee of Solidarity / Istanbul / Irfan Argun sent a letter addressed to the president of Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh. “Georgians showed their chauvinistic aspirations, having carried out intrusion into Kodori gorge that belongs to Abkhazia, and established there contrary to the existing international agreements the so-called government ‘in exile’,” – it was stated in the paper. “Having put an end to this government ‘in exile’, we taught a lesson to those who misbehaved, breaking the international agreements. We hope that it would make benefits to our country”, – Irfan Argun emphasized. As he said, representatives of the Abkhazian and North-Caucasian Diaspora living in Turkey, were always and will be on the side of Abkhazia and in a case of need would render it any support.
