25 years old, Timur Ashinov (Ашынэ Тимур) has died of head injuries in Adygeisk hospital after an attack carried out by 40 masked men, armed with wooden sticks and metal bars.

According to witnesses and victims, the perpetrators asked the people present at the time whether they are Russians or not, before attacking them. They did not touch those who said they were Russians.

The attack took place in a pizza restaurant on the 11^th of May in Krasnodar. Timur was taken by his friends to the Krasnodar Hospital but denied admittance. Then he was taken to Adygeisk Hospital, which undergone an immediate surgery: but doctors stated: It was too late to save his life as time was lost before reaching the hospital. Read more →

توفي في أديغيسك في جمهورية أديغيه تيمور أشينوف البالغ من العمر 25 عاما نتيجة لجراح أصيب بها بالرأس إثر هجوم قام به أربعين من المتطرّفين الروس الّذين كانوا مقنعين ومسلحين بعصي خشبية وقضبان حديدية.

وحسب الشهود وضحايا الهجوم كان المعتدون يسألون الّذين تواجدوا في المكان قبل الإعتداء السّافر، ما إذا كانوا من الروس أم لا. لم يلمسوا بسؤ من قالوا بأنهم من الروس.

حصل الإعتداء في محل للبيتزا بتاريخ 11 مايو/أيار في مدينة كراسنودار. بعد إصابته بالحادث الغادر نقل تيمور أشينوف من المكان من قبل رفاقه إلى مستشفى كراسنودار فرفضت المستشفى مساعدته، ما جعلهم ينقلوه إلى مستشفى أديغيسك، وتم إجراء عملية جراحية له، إلا أن الأطباء قالوا – مضى وقت طويل قبل التمكن من إيصاله إلى المستشفى، وعليه كان من المتأخر إنقاذ حياته. توفي تيمور يوم 14 مايو/أيار.

بعدها تجمّع وتظاهر قرابة ثلاثة آلاف شاب من بينيغوقاي وأديغيسك، وأغلقوا الطّريق السّريع المؤدّي إلى كراسنودارمطالبين بتحديد القتلة وتقديمهم للعدالة. وأعلنت شرطة كراسنودار أن المظاهرة عمل من أعمال التّطرّف.

INSIGHT-Elusive Muscovite with three names takes control of Ukraine rebels

SLAVIANSK, Ukraine/MOSCOW, May 15 (Reuters) – He is a man with three names, sought by Ukrainian intelligence as the top Russian operative in the separatist east. He moves through the streets in a black Mercedes, his face with pencil moustache hidden behind tinted windows, and his aim is to “destroy” Ukrainian forces that venture onto his territory.

In a leaflet distributed this week in the rebel Donetsk region, “Colonel Igor Strelkov” assumed command of all rebel forces there and called for Russian army help to ward off what he calls the threat from the Kiev “junta” and from NATO.

To Kiev and its Western allies, Strelkov is living proof that Moscow is behind the uprising in eastern Ukraine, despite its denials, and trying to replay the scenario that saw it seize the Crimea province in March. Read more →
