NAZRAN. July 19 (Interfax) – Two traffic police officers in Russia’s republic of Ingushetia were hospitalized with heavy injuries after unidentified individuals opened fire at them on Wednesday on Ingushetia’s border with the republic of North Ossetia, an Ingush law enforcement agency source told Interfax.
Police went after the attackers, who escaped.
The assault occurred near a railway level crossing near the village of Maiskoye.
