الشركس الذين جاءوا لدورة الالعاب الاولمبية لا يمثلون الشتات الشركسي، يقول نشطاء

يدّعي ممثلي المنظمات الشركسية أن الشركس الذين قدموا من الخارج إلى دورة الألعاب الأولمبية في سوتشي لا يمكن أن يمثلوا الشتات الشركسي وسيحضرون دورة الالعاب كأشخاص. الحركة الدولية “وطنيو شركيسيا” حثتهم على الاستماع إلى رأي المجتمع الشركسي .

دعونا نذكركم بأن معظم الوفد يتألف من 26 فرداً من الشركس الأجانب وصلوا يوم 5 فبراير/شباط إلى سوتشي للمشاركة في حفل افتتاح دورة الالعاب الاولمبية. (http://eng.kavkaz-uzel.ru/articles/27196/). وجميعهم من أعضاء جمعية الخريجين الأجانب وأصدقاء جامعة قباردينو – بلكاريا الحكوميّة (KBSU).

و”روسيا، فشلت في الحصول على دعم من أي منظمة في الشتات الشركسي، حيث قامت بتقديم أولياء أمور الطلبة والخريجين السابقين من جامعة قباردينو – بلكاريا على انّهم  ممثلين عن الشتات الشركسي، وهي على أتم الإستعداد لتزييف الرأي العام الدولي”، كما يقول بيان “وطنيو شركيسيا”.

و الآن، وفقا لنشطاء من الحركة، فإن روسيا مرة أخرى “تلعب لعبة، بعد أن دعت أولياء أمور هؤلاء الطلاب إلى حفل الافتتاح”.

الحركة الدولية “وطنيو شركيسيا” ناشدت الشركس الأجانب المدعوين لحضور الألعاب الأولمبية، لأن يرفضوا دعوة حضور دورة الألعاب الأولمبية.

نداء عاجل إلى منظمات حقوق الإنسان

نحن الشركس نناشد كافة نشطاء ومنظمات حقوق الإنسان لإدانة اعتقال عسكر سوخت (Asker Sokht) الّذي حدث في 15 فبراير/شباط، وهو المنظم في المجتمع، وناشط من أجل السلام، ورئيس الجمعية الشركسية المعروفة باسم الأديغة خاسه في مقاطعة كراسنودار في الفيدراليّة الرّوسيّة.

يدعو الشراكسة حكومة كراسنودار المحلية والسلطات الفيدراليّة الرّوسيّة إلى إسقاط جميع التهم الموجّهة ضد عسكر سوخت، ووضع حد للمعاناة والتعذيب والاستجواب، وإطلاق سراحه دون تأخير.

وقد اتهم عسكر سوخت “بتأجيج الصراع العرقي”؛ لكن الحقائق تقضي بأنّه قضى حياته المهنية في بناء الجسور ولإيجاد شعور من التفاهم المجتمعي بين الجماعات العرقية المختلفة في شمال القوقاز. فهو بطل في حل النّزاعات بطريقة سلميّة، وأحد الأصوات القليلة البارزة في التعقل والاعتدال في المنطقة.

في الخامس عشر من فبراير/شباط تم اقتياد السيد سوخت من سيارته وألقي عليه القبض. وقد تركت الشرطة ابنته الصغيرة والّتي كانت ترافقه في ذلك الوقت وحيدة في السيارة. وجاء الاعتقال بعد تعليقات أدلى بها السيد سوخت ينتقد فيها نائب رئيس الوزراء الروسي، ديمتري كوزاك بسبب تراجعه عن وعده بإبراز الثقافة الشركسية في حفل افتتاح دورة الألعاب الأولمبية  وفي المرافق الرئيسية.

نحن الشركس وغير الشركس على حد سواء ندعوا السلطات الفيدرالية الروسية للتدخل الفوري والإفراج عن عسكر سوخت، ولبدء التحقيق في اعتقاله، وندعوا منظمات حقوق الإنسان إلى إدانة اعتقاله.

إدانة اعتقال الناشط عسكر سوخت

يدين المجلس الشركسي العالمي بأشد العبارات الاعتقال التعسفي للناشط الشركسي عسكر سوخت (Asker Sokht) في كراسنودار. وقد أمضى عسكر سوخت حياته المهنية في بناء الجسور وخلق الإحساس بالانتماء للمجتمع بين مختلف المجموعات العرقية في شمال القوقاز. وهو ناشط سلام ملتزم ورئيس الجمعية الشركسية أديغه خاسه في كراسنودار .

فى الخامس عشر من فبراير/شباط تم اقتياد السيد سوخت من سيارته وألقي القبض عليه، وقد تركت الشّرطة  ابنته الصغيرة التي برفقته في ذلك الوقت وحيدة في السيارة. وقد جاء الاعتقال بعد أن أدلى السيد سوخت بتعليقات ينتقد فيها نائب رئيس الوزراء الروسي، ديمتري كوزاك (Dmitry Kozak) لتراجعه عن وعده بإبراز الثقافة الشركسية في حفل افتتاح دورة الألعاب الأولمبية والمرافق الرئيسية.

إن القبض على عسكر سوخت من قبل السلطات الروسية هو محاولة سافرة لكبت حرية التعبير وترهيب الناشطين والصحفيين الآخرين. وهذا  دلالة نحو اتجاه أوسع من القمع تقوم به السلطات الفيدراليّة، والذي يصبح على نحو متزايد تهديدا للحياة السلمية لسكان شمال القوقاز .

نحن الشراكسة وبدعم من أصدقائنا غير الشراكسة على حد سواء، ندعو السلطات الفيدرالية الروسية للتدخل والإفراج عن عسكر سوخت على الفور، والبدء في إجراء تحقيق في اعتقاله. كما وندعو نشطاء ومنظمات حقوق الإنسان في العالم لإدانة اعتقاله غير المبرر وغير المقبول.

كل يوم تأبى السلطات الروسية إلا أن تكشف أكثر مما تخفي من نوايا عدائية مدبرة ضد الوطن الشركسي وشعبه ونشطائه، حيث يصبح وجوب التعامل مع السلطات الروسية ممثلة بأجهزتها الأمنية، كابوساً لا يستطيع أحد أن يتجنبه أو أن يكون بمأمن من التعرض للقسوة المنهجيّة، وتجاهل حقوق الإنسان والإنتهاك المستمر للكرامة الإنسانية .

Urgent Appeal to Human Rights Organizations

We, the Circassians are appealing to all human rights activists and organizations to condemn the February 15th arrest of Asker Sokht, who is a community organizer, peace activist, and president of the Circassian association, known as the Adyghe Khasa in the province of Krasnodar of the Russian Federation.

The Circassians call on the local government of Krasnodar Krai and the Russian Federal Authorities to drop all charges against Asker Sokht, put an end to the suffering, torture and interrogations, and release him without delay.

Asker Sokht is being charged with “Promoting Ethnic Conflict”; but facts reveal that he has spent his career building bridges and creating a sense of community understanding between the different ethnic groups of the North Caucasus. He is a champion of peaceful conflict solution and resolution, and one of the few prominent voices of reason and moderation in the region.

On February 15th Mr. Sokht was pulled from his car and arrested. Police left his young daughter, who was with him at the time, abandoned in the car. The arrest came after comments Mr. Sokht made criticizing Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Dmitry Kozak, for reneging on his promise to feature Circassian culture in the Olympic Games’ opening ceremonies and main venues.

We Circassians and non-Circassians alike call on Russian federal authorities to intervene immediately and release Asker Sokht, to begin an investigation into his arrest, and for human rights organizations to condemn his arrest.

Condemnation of Asker Sokht’s Arrest

The International Circassian Council condemns in the strongest terms the arbitrary arrest of Circassian activist Asker Sokht in Krasnodar. Asker Sokht has spent his career building bridges and creating a sense of community between the different ethnic groups of the North Caucasus. He is a committed peace activist and president of the Adyghe Khasa in Krasnodar.

On February 15th Mr. Sokht was pulled from his car and arrested. Police left his young daughter, who was with him at the time, abandoned in the car. The arrest came after Mr. Sokht made comments criticizing Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Dmitry Kozak, for reneging on his promise to feature Circassian culture in the Olympic Opening Ceremonies and main venues.

The arrest of Asker Sokht by Russian authorities is a blatant attempt to stifle free speech and intimidate other activists and journalists. This is symptomatic of a wider trend of repressions by the federal authorities, which is increasingly becoming a threat to the peaceful lives of residents of the North Caucasus.

We, the Circassians supported by our non-Circassian friends alike, call on the Russian federal authorities to intervene and release Asker Sokht immediately, and begin an investigation into his arrest. Also we call on world human rights activists and organizations to condemn his unjustified and unacceptable arrest.

Every day the Russian authorities refuse but to reveal more of what is hiding of orchestrated hostile intentions against the Circassian homeland, its people and activists, where it becomes to deal with the Russian authorities represented by its security services, a nightmare that no one is able to avoid or to be safe of exposure to systematical cruelty, disregard of human rights and persistently in continuous violation to human dignity.
